the beginning

Back in 2016, entering my freshman year of college, I bought a website domain to launch a blog - a space where I could share all of my current obsessions and also just put my thoughts on ‘paper’ and essentially free write. It was just something that seemed like a fun way to spend my free time. Fast forward to 2024; the domain has expired, I’m out five hundred bucks, and I never even attempted to start the blog. I’m not quite sure why I never started it, maybe out of fear of judgment (silly but real) but I’m excited to be starting now on this platform.

I’ve always loved to write, it’s probably the career path I should have chosen in life - it seems to be what comes the most naturally and effortlessly to me and it’s where I feel most comfortable fully expressing my thoughts.. (and I have A LOT of them). I’m also someone who loves to give lists of recommendations - I’m essentially a human Yelp. The categories I typically feel most confident discussing are fashion, food, beauty, travel, & wellness, etc. but anything goes really. I’d love any insight on what you might want to hear from me on this platform as well.
